The American Institute of Mathematics (AIM) is a mathematical sciences research institute based in Pasadena, California and housed in the Richard N. Merkin Center on the Caltech campus. Supported by the National Science Foundation, AIM organizes research workshops, SQuaREs, Research Communities, public lectures, and outreach events (including a Math Fair and participation in professional meetings) to advance mathematical research and its applications across science and engineering.
