The Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center, founded in 2006 and based in Beirut, is a regional program of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace that produces on-the-ground research, commentary, and policy analysis on political, socioeconomic, and security issues across the Middle East and North Africa. The center convenes regional experts, publishes research and commentary on topics such as Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and climate change, and contributes policy recommendations and independent analysis to decisionmakers, governments, and institutions.
