About
The Council of Australasian University Librarians (CAUL) is the peak collegiate body for leaders of university libraries in Australasia. CAUL advances higher education strategy, policy and outcomes by promoting university libraries as essential infrastructure for teaching, learning and research; delivering services and programs (including an Open Educational Resources Collective, content procurement and professional learning); running projects, events and communities of practice; and representing member interests to government and stakeholders. CAUL publishes resources, runs events and convenes advisory groups and committees to foster collaboration and open, equitable access to knowledge across member institutions. The organisation operates a national office in Deakin, ACT, Australia and maintains resources such as the OER Collective Catalogue and a document library.
