About
clipboard.js is an open-source JavaScript library that provides simple, dependency-free copy and cut-to-clipboard functionality for web pages and web applications. It uses standard browser Selection and document.execCommand APIs (with graceful degradation) to copy or cut text from inputs, textareas, attributes or programmatically supplied strings, and exposes a small imperative API and events for integrating user feedback and lifecycle management. The library is distributed via npm and as downloadable bundles and targets web developers building interactive interfaces, single-page apps, and UI components that need client-side clipboard operations without Flash or large frameworks.
