About
Django Girls is a volunteer-run non-profit organization and community that empowers women to learn programming by organizing free, one-day workshops teaching Python, Django, HTML and CSS. The project creates and maintains open-source tutorials and an Organizer Manual, supports local volunteer organizers worldwide, and runs events that introduce beginners to building a first web application. Since 2014 the community has run hundreds of events across many countries and relies on volunteers and partners to fund and support its workshops.
