About DOI
The DOI Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that governs the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) system, providing persistent infrastructure for the identification and resolution of digital objects. As the registration authority for the ISO 26324 standard, the Foundation oversees the global DOI system on behalf of registration agencies serving diverse communities, including scholarly publishing, entertainment, standards, and research data.
