About
DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) is an open-source set of libraries and drivers that accelerate packet processing and network application performance on general-purpose processors. It provides optimized, run-to-completion libraries, frameworks and support for a broad range of processors and network interface controllers (NICs), enabling high-performance networking in data centers, network edge, and network infrastructure. DPDK is developed and maintained by a community of technical contributors and corporate members and is hosted as an open-source project under the Linux Foundation umbrella.
