About Sedo
eMedTV was a web-based health information project launched in 2007 that produced short, physician-narrated videos paired with rigorously edited articles on medical topics. Its library grew to more than 3,500 topics and the site was among the more visited consumer health resources in the 2010s. The project was retired in 2019; archives exist on Archive.org and some clips remain on eMedTV's YouTube channel. The site aimed to provide patient-friendly medical video content for consumers seeking health information.
