Fab Lab Barcelona is a research, education and innovation centre based in Barcelona focusing on digital fabrication, design, and community-driven projects. Part of the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), it runs educational programs (e.g., Fab Academy, Master in Design for Emergent Futures, postgraduate digital fabrication), hosts research and EU-funded projects (Make-a-thek, more4nature, PENCE, DAFNE), organizes conferences and hackathons, and provides resources and toolkits related to maker-centered learning, citizen sensing and circular, distributed design.
