About
The Fairtrade Foundation is a UK-based non-profit organization that certifies products and campaigns to improve trading conditions and promote sustainability for farmers and workers in developing countries. It operates the FAIRTRADE Mark in the UK, certifying supply chains across commodities such as coffee, tea, cocoa, bananas, flowers and gold, and works with retailers, businesses, schools and local authorities to increase ethical sourcing. The Foundation also runs campaigns, policy and advocacy work to secure fairer prices, safer working conditions, stronger rights for producers and climate justice, and forms part of the global Fairtrade system operating in many producer countries.
