About
ASU FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) is the fashion and design program of Arizona State University that continues the legacy of the independent FIDM institution (founded 1969) after its educational programs closed March 31, 2025. ASU FIDM offers undergraduate degrees and a minor in fashion, costume design and technology, and related creative industries with hands-on courses emphasizing design, technical skills, business management and sustainability. The program operates in Los Angeles and Phoenix, supports alumni through ASU Alumni services, and integrates FIDM's curriculum and industry connections into ASU's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
