About
Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a public two-year community and technical college in South Carolina with campuses in Myrtle Beach (Grand Strand), Conway, and Georgetown County. HGTC offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs across fields including nursing and health sciences, hospitality and tourism, boat/outboard marine technology, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity training, correctional officer training, and workforce development. The college provides classroom instruction, clinical and hands-on training in regional facilities, and student support programs such as TRIO. HGTC also administers financial aid resources and promotes tuition assistance for eligible programs.
