About LMMS
LMMS is a free, open source, cross-platform digital audio workstation (DAW) designed for music composition, sequencing, mixing, and automation. Users can create melodies and beats, synthesize and mix sounds, and arrange samples using a modern, user-friendly interface. LMMS supports playback of instruments and samples via typing or MIDI keyboards, and includes a variety of built-in synthesizers, effects, and plugin support such as VST and SoundFont. The software is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, and is community-driven and hosted on GitHub.
