The Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (MIREX) is the government ministry of the Dominican Republic responsible for the country’s foreign affairs, consular services, diplomatic relations and international cooperation. Its website provides news, consular services (visa issuance, apostille and legalizations, passports, cross-border passes), public communications, and resources for Dominicans abroad and foreign visitors. MIREX administers diplomatic relations, represents the Dominican Republic internationally, and delivers citizen-facing services related to travel documents and legalization of documents.
