Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) is an Indonesian vocational higher-education institution offering diploma, applied bachelor (Sarjana Terapan) and applied master (Magister Terapan) programs. Polije emphasizes practice-oriented learning (about 60% practice, 40% theory), operates a Teaching Factory (Tefa) model, and provides programs across agriculture, technology, health, business, information technology, language & tourism, and engineering. The institution runs multiple campuses (including Bondowoso, Nganjuk, Sidoarjo, Ngawi) and engages in research, community service, and industry partnerships. Polije transitioned to a state public service agency (PTN BLU) in 2022 and was a candidate for state university with legal entity status in 2023.
