Pine Tree Legal Assistance (PTLA) is a nonprofit legal services organization that provides free civil legal aid and self-help tools to low-income residents of Maine. The organization offers resources and guidance on topics such as rental housing and evictions, money/taxes/debt, health and public benefits, homeownership and foreclosure, domestic violence and sexual assault, family law (divorce, custody), Indigenous peoples' legal issues, farmworkers/work/school rights, veterans' services, and court help.
