About
The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), an initiative of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), provides tools, resources and programs to help companies implement responsible mineral sourcing and due diligence across supply chains. RMI supports member companies with standards, assessment and assurance programs (including the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process), reporting templates (such as the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template and Cobalt Reporting Template), facility and smelter/refiner lists, training, risk mapping, grievance mechanisms and guidance focused on minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. RMI convenes stakeholders, develops recognized standards and helps downstream and upstream companies improve regulatory compliance and responsible sourcing practices globally.
