About
Strong Towns is a U.S.-based, member-powered nonprofit movement and 501(c)(3) organization that produces research, stories, tools, events and local organizing resources to help cities, towns and neighborhoods become more financially resilient, walkable, and livable. The organization advocates for incremental housing, safer and more productive streets, ending parking mandates and highway expansion, and improved local financial transparency. Strong Towns runs educational programs, local chapters called Local Conversations, publishes books and articles, and supports members with resources to influence local policy and development practices.
