About
The College of Saint Rose was a private Catholic college founded in 1920 in Albany, New York, by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet. Historically a college for women that expanded into a coeducational institution, it awarded undergraduate and graduate degrees and graduated more than 50,000 students since its first graduating class in 1924. The college ceased academic instruction in June 2024; its alumni, former faculty, and staff continue to carry forward its mission and values.
