About Void Linux
Void Linux is an independent, general-purpose Linux distribution developed from scratch by volunteers. It is not a fork of any existing distribution and features its own package manager (XBPS) and build system. Void Linux supports multiple C libraries (musl and glibc), offers binary packages and source builds, and is available for a variety of hardware platforms. The distribution uses runit as its init system, focusing on simplicity, stability, and operational reliability. Void Linux provides a rolling release model, continuous integration for package updates, and is suitable for both desktop and server environments. An Enterprise Edition is also available, offering enhanced features for business and cloud infrastructure.
