About
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is an Australian Government statutory agency established under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. WGEA promotes and improves gender equality in Australian workplaces by collecting and analysing employer reporting data, publishing national statistics and employer-level reports, providing guidance and tools (including reporting portals, action-planning aids, pay gap analysis guidance and training), and supporting employers to set and meet gender equality targets. WGEA also produces research, compliance guidance and public resources to help employers reduce gender pay gaps and address workplace gender issues.
