The White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) is a nonprofit membership organization of journalists who cover the White House. The WHCA advocates for press access to the president, administration officials, White House events and trips; facilitates logistics and information flow between correspondents and the White House; and supports journalism through scholarships and annual awards and fundraising activities, including its high-profile annual dinner.
