The World Cube Association (WCA) is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that governs and organizes official competitions for mechanical twisty puzzles (commonly known as Rubik's Cube and related puzzles). The WCA develops and maintains competition regulations, sanctions events worldwide, records official results and records, provides rankings and event tools (including WCA Live and results databases), and supports local organizers, delegates, and volunteers to ensure consistent, fair, and widely accessible competitions.
